Kuwait: 50 expats working at Municipality to be sacked as part of Kuwaitisation drive

Dubai: Fifty expats working at Kuwait’s Municipality will be fired, local media reported.

The termination was requested by the Civil Service Bureau, in line with its Kuwaitisation policy for the fiscal year 2021-2022.

An informed source said that the administrative affairs sector in the municipality addressed heads of departments to implement the decision by providing the administrative affairs with the names of non-Kuwaiti employees who are going to be fired.
