Cairo: Bahrain's top court has upheld the death sentencing against three Asians convicted of murdering a fourth Asian expat, the country's chief prosecutor Ali Al Shuwaikh said.

The verdict, issued by the Court of Cassation, is final, confirming earlier rulings issued by lower courts.

The victim was found seriously injured and later died in hospital, Bahraini newspaper Akhbar Al Khaleej reported. Investigations revealed that the man had been killed by three Asian nationals as a result of a financial dispute and they stole his money after the murder.

A police raid on residences of the three resulted in seizing the tools used in the murder and the stolen money. They later admitted to the murder during investigations and were put on criminal court.
