A video of a woman in the India state of Kerala, riding a bike and stopping in the middle of the road, has gone viral online.

The clip shows a two-way road with traffic coming from both directions. A bus driver is seen driving on the wrong side of the road and the woman on the bike encounters the bus. She stands still in the middle of the road until the bus in forced to switch to the right lane.

The video was shared on Twitter by user @TheGhostRider31: "When you are right it gives you a very different kind of might. See Joe a lady rider down South doesn't budge an inch to give in to an erring bus driver. Kudos to her. #GirlPower #BikerLife #BikerGirl."

The post has got 1,200 retweets and 3,400 likes so far.

Netizens praised the woman for not budging from her place and doing what she believed in.

One Twitter user, @Advaidism, wrote: “When you see a KSRTC [Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation] superfast in your rear-view mirror, you give them side. That's the normal rule on Kerala roads. This Malayali Woman is very brave to hold her ground.”
