We should all be very grateful to the authorities for being concerned about our well-being and providing us with air-conditioned bus shelters.

However, there are some areas that have bus stops with no shelter.

We don’t need air-conditioners, that would not be economically wise as some shelters are not frequently used. A simple wooden structure that provides shade and allows a natural breeze is enough to provide relief in bus shelters.

All one needs is a shed and a bench, so people can rest. When I am sitting in the comfort of my car and see people standing in the heat, it makes me feel sad.

There is a stop on Al Rigga Road with no shade. There are many more in the city with no bus shelters.

I have been noticing for a long time that people use umbrellas and shade their eyes with their hands. Also, often the glass doors and windows are covered with advertisements and people can’t see inside the shelter, and it can be unsafe.
