Dubai: Diamond company Rosy Blue have taken their annual sponsorship of the UAE Billiards and Snooker Association (UAEBSA) into a seventh consecutive season following a recent agreement.
The renewal of their partnership was signed by UAEBSA general secretary Sultan Al Joaker in the presence of managing director Khalid Ali Al Khyaili and Rosy Blue administration manager Roopesh George last month.
Rosy Blue is one of the world’s largest diamond procurement and polishing firms employing more than 20,000 people across 16 countries.
“The overwhelming support and partnership over the years from Rosy Blue has been extremely helpful for enabling the UAEBSA to achieve their goals and objectives,” said Al Joaker. “The UAEBSA remains grateful to Rosy Blue, Dubai, particularly their chairman, Harshad Mehta, who is also known as the ‘Diamond King’ and his son and the company’s director, Rihen Harshad Mehta, for their non-stop participation and support not only for billiards and snooker but also across other sports in the UAE. It truly confirms that they are ardent sports lovers.”
