Sharjah: The Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) will conduct selection trials for Under-16 and Under-19 age group players for the UAE junior teams under the supervision of UAE coach Aaqib Javed at the ICC Cricket Academy in Dubai from today (June 8 to 12 between 7pm to 9pm).
The selection is for the U-16 and U-19 tournaments to be held by the Asian Cricket Council in Qatar and Kuwait respectively.
The players attending the U-16 trials should be born on or after September 1, 1998, while for the under-19 trails should have been on or after September 1, 1996. Those attending the trials must have been born in the UAE or should have been a resident in the UAE for a minimum of four years.
The players are requested to carry the copies of their passport and two photographs and these should be submitted before the selection trials.
