The Directory: Squat Wolf gym wear brand engineered in Dubai
Active wear brand hopes to be your practical, and good-looking alternative for the gym
For a country with almost as many gyms as burger restaurants, it was only a matter of time before someone started a UAE gym gear brand. Squat Wolf, which launched in May, is already winning fans as an interesting alternative to branded, and often quote monotonous, gym wear.
Inspired by the Dubai-based founders’ love for squats – “because it’s the king of exercises” – and the aggressiveness of the wolf – “work out like an animal”, the proudly born-in-the-UAE Squat Wolf aims to be your go-to brand for fashionable and practical fitness wear.
They didn’t want to be named though, preferring to let the brand speak for itself.
There are currently 10 products, including tank tops, shorts and t-shirts, with more products to be launched next month. A women’s line is also planned.
