This is to bring to the notice of the transport authorities in Sharjah that motorists are taking undue advantage of the lack of lane dividers on the Sharjah Ring Road. This occurs mainly at the exit to Emirates Road. Most motorists violate traffic rules at this point.
They block the flow of traffic during peak hours by getting into the line at the very last minute, right at the entrance of the exit. There are no dividers near the exit to Emirates Road. If it is not possible to implement such barricades, there at least needs to be police presence along Sharjah Ring Road. Spot fines could also be handed out to those who break traffic rules openly. I request the authorities to take appropriate action at the earliest. If people are driving in this manner, thinking that the rules are not being strictly enforced, it will only encourage them to continue breaking road regulations.
