Dubai: This may only be the second year for the World of Music, Arts and Dance (Womad), but it's gearing up to be an exciting three-day festival.
More than 24 artists are expected to perform at free concerts on the Abu Dhabi Corniche from April 22 to 24 for Womad.
One artist that is sure to draw a crowd, is Damian “Jr Gong” Marley, son of reggae legend Bob Marley, who will be performing for the first time ever in the UAE.
Other artists on the line-up include Debashish Bhattacharya from India, Babylon Circus from France, Transglobal Underground from the UK, Sierra Maestra from Cuba and Hakim from Egypt.
