With more than 50 items on the menu, this Dubai Marina address takes its iftar very seriously. Turning its massive Constellation ballroom into a festive burst of colours, complete with giant screens and lamps, the separate stations for starters and mains quickly get busy once iftar is called. Actually, calling them stations might not even do justice since they both extend from one end of the ballroom to the other.
Despite sticking to a boilerplate iftar menu, barring the addition of vegetable spring rolls perhaps, the sheer size of this buffet is enough to satisfy you. And it’s good food all through, right from the lentil soup to start to the dessert that includes some of my favourite Indian sweets among others. I am told the menu is rotated so there’s something new every day. All the more reason for a second visit methinks.
