Music in the Park returns to Dubai for Baisakhi
Malhaar Centre for Performing Arts artists will bring classical and folk music
Free concert series ‘Music in the Park’ featuring traditional Indian music will return to Dubai’s Jumeirah Lakes Towers amphitheatre on April 26. The latest edition will mark the Sikh spring festival of Baisakhi.
Artists from the Malhaar Centre for Performing Arts will bring Hindustani classical and folk music as well as Bharatanatyam dance performances. There will also be live painting by local artsits. Students of GEMS Heritage Indian School will also perform experimental Indian traditional and popular music and their rendition of the popular Sufi composition ‘Dama Dam Mast Kalandar’.
Performances begin at 6pm.
