Dubai:  The job market may not be in its best shape, but if you’re looking to make a switch or just kick-starting your career in UAE, you have more chances of landing a new role if you know where to look.

A new study by professional networking platform LinkedIn suggests that job hunters may have higher chances of finding a vacancy in retail and hospitality.

This may be good news for professionals with experience in hotels, restaurants and malls, as the two sectors aren't just the fastest growing, they post the biggest increase in hiring this year.

Another top industry to look into is the hospital and health care sector, as well as marketing and advertising. Jobseekers are also likely to get hired in construction and engineering companies, as well as in schools, airlines and IT companies.

According to Ali Matar, head of LinkedIn Middle East and North Africa, these industries have been doing well over the past 15 years and offering the most hiring at the same time.
