Dubai: Hotpack on Friday announced a £50 million (Dh223 million) investment to develop a regional head office and manufacturing plant in Wrexham, Wales, UK.
The Dubai-based firm, which makes disposable food packaging, said the operation would create 250 jobs.
Abdul Jebbar P.B., Group Managing Director, said the firm was expanding its global footprint, adding, “Wrexham and the immediate area are rapidly emerging as a ‘Centre of excellence’ in advanced food technology and we look forward to bringing our 22 years of experience to enhance and support this sector with investment, job creation, [and] training along with the very latest in production lines.”
