Dubai: Logistics giant DHL announced a new delivery system on Tuesday for the UAE.
The German company said it would be “piloting a kinetic energy based cargo bicycle programme” for inner-city deliveries in the UAE.
A cubicycle is a customised four-wheel bike that is designed to carry containers with a load of 125 kilograms, DHL said in a statement.
The innovative bike aims to reduce emissions and traffic by minimizing the time spent on the road by standard delivery vehicles.
