PIOCCI Gulf Chapter welcomed over 100 delegates, including academicians and top entrepreneurs from Indian diaspora in UAE, for the event titled A dialogue with Mohandas Pai.
The event took place at India club, Dubai on 10th December and it was also joined remotely by the officials of Chanakya University in Bengaluru in India to which Pai is among the Board of Governor. Mohandas Pai is awarded Padma Shri, a fourth highest civilian award by Govt. of India. The PIOCCI executive committee member led by N. Mohan and S. Venkatesh from MCA Gulf welcomed the guest
The focus of the talk was how India transformed into a start up nation and its journey over last few years that has shaped its economy as well as leadership stature in world politics. The huge potential between India-IAE bilateral trade relationship was covered during the talk. Mohan Das Pai also highlighted the contribution of NRIs and Indian diaspora towards achieving the economic and cultural aspiration of the country. PIOCCI Gulf executive member Satish Mayya, Bala Kumar, and Ravi Chand were also present.
PIOOCI has emerged as a organiser and support for various Indian ministries, state governments and corporates and delegates interested to visit the UAE and vice versa.
