After establishing herself in the fashion and digital marketing sector, social media influencer Shaima Hormillosa expands into the health and fitness sector in the cosmopolitan city of Dubai.
Her maiden venture in health and fitness sector is Fitness one which will be located on Nad Al Sheba in Dubai. The fitness studio will be spread across approximately 6,000 Sq. Ft. of area.
An ACE-certified personal trainer who has achieved many milestones in the world of fitness is already an inspiration for many from across the globe. Her zest for physical fitness and gymming coupled with her love for social media made her post videos on social media and within no time she saw her followers swelling.
Shaima Hormillosa, Founder, Fitness One, said that she is keen to tap major share in the health and fitness category and sees a huge potential in the UAE market.
Speaking about her expansion plans, she said, “Dubai was on my map for expansion. I have three fitness studios in The Philippines named Fitness One. Now I plan to expand it to Dubai in the last quarter of 2023. We offer host of fitness services like Cardio Kickboxing, Aero Steps, Zumba, Body Pump, Combat Aero, Spinning Classes Sculpt & Tone, Prenatal & Post Natal Classes, Yoga and Pilates which will be of interest to the fitness freaks here.” These services will be available for kids and adults, elderlies and even for people with injuries.
Regarding the UAE operations, Shaima elaborated, "We are already operating in health and fitness sector in The Philippines since May, 2000. As far as expansion plans for Fitness One is concerned we will be looking for expansion in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain after seeing the results of our maiden venture.”
Her popularity as a social media influencer can be gauged from the fact that she has over 1.9 million followers on Instagram across the globe. In recognition of her status as a social media influencer she was recently ranked 107 in the prestigious Illustrado's 300 most influential Filipinos in the Gulf Legacy Edition in March, 2020.
