The ADE - Aveiro Digital Export project arises from the main mission of AIDA - Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the District of Aveiro to represent, defend and meet the needs of companies in the district, making them increasingly solid and competitive SMEs.
Encouraging the development and growth of companies, the project Aveiro Digital Export - ADE - consists of a set of initiatives based on strengthening the digital and exporting skills of companies in the district of Aveiro. With the realization of this project, it is intended to focus on digital transformation, in particular the use of technology to improve the performance and reach of small and medium-sized enterprises.
Throughout this project, which began in 2020 and ended at the end of March 2023, several activities have been developed, such as 60 Digital Labs, training sessions for micro and SMEs on topics related to the use of digital channels to support the internationalization of companies held in the various municipalities of the district. Studies were also developed related to the best export practices in digital channels, a Guide to Digital Exporting and the Digital World Book, available at www.aida.pt/ade/.
The ADE project also seeks to promote companies internationally and attract investments to the district of Aveiro, through prospection visits and participation in fairs in markets such as Dubai, Canada, USA, Netherlands, Italy and Tokyo.
The project's main objectives are to enable these companies to export through the use of digital channels, to enhance and transfer knowledge on internationalization and to invest in the integrated international promotion of the supply of products, goods and services of the district of Aveiro.
The ADE project is supported by COMPETE 2020 under the Collective Actions Support System, involving an eligible ERDF investment of 745,783.45 euros which resulted in an ERDF incentive of 633,915.93 euros.
