The UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) lauded the agreement between the UAE and the US on air transport relations, saying the deal reflects the strong relationship between the two countries.

Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri, chairman of the GCAA and the UAE’s minister of economy, said the agreement will enhance air transport ties between both countries and will support Open Skies policies.

The US and the UAE signed a deal on Friday to resolve a dispute between airlines from each country over allegations of unfair competition.
