Jordanian man commits suicide in Kuwait
The 27-year-old hung himself in his apartment in Salmiya
Dubai: A 27-year-old Jordanian man has committed suicide by hanging in his apartment in Salmiya, Kuwait, Al Anbaa daily reported on Saturday.
The incident was reported to the Ministry of Interior’s operations on Friday evening by a woman who is believed to be either the wife or sister of the victim.
There are no more details as to why the man committed suicide but Kuwait police has already launched investigation into the incident.
Rushed to the scene
It is not the first time that an expat commits suicide in Kuwait. Earlier last December, a 31-year-old Indian has committed suicide in Kuwait after his employment was terminated.
When the Ministry of Interior personnel received a report that an Indian had committed suicide inside his apartment in Abu Halifa, security men and forensic staff rushed to the scene and found the body hanging by a rope.
According to the deceased friends, the man took his life after the company terminated his services.
