Burj Park, which lies at the base of Burj Khalifa, along the Burj Lake and Dubai Fountain, is where much of the action is for the New Year Eve programme every year. Families and friends alike gather in large numbers well before the countdown begins just to secure a place on the sprawling greens and get a perfect view of the fireworks. This year, it will be a paid experience for those wanting a privileged experience at the park.

The Burj Khalifa fireworks, which has attracted millions of visitors over the past 12 years, are among the most spectacular New Year Eve displays in the world. According to Emaar, this year too, residents and visitors can enjoy a "memorable laser, light and firework show and be a part of the world's greatest celebration in what promises to be an evening to remember".
