Cairo: Youth aged between 15 to 34 years account for 36.7 per cent of the Saudi population, official statistics showed Sunday.
Saudi Arabia’s total population is estimated at 34.8 million including 10.5 million foreigners.

In the same vein, 43.1 per cent of the Saudi women aged between 25 to 34 years are unmarried, the figures showed.
The Gastat report said that 5.8 per cent of Saudi males aged between 15-34 years suffer from chronic diseases against 5.2 per cent of females in the same age group.
Most Saudi females exercise with the aim of boosting their well-being, the report noted.
Young Saudi employees accounted for 1.48 million or 47 per cent of the overall Saudi manpower in 2019, the statistics said.
The report was issued on the occasion of the International Youth Day marked annually on August 12 with the aim of drawing attention to young people's issues across the globe.
