    Saudi authorities have warned that carelessness towards pets is punishable by a fine of up to 50,000 riyals. “Negligence of animals is represented by their owners’ lack of attention, malnutrition [of the pets[ or leaving them without adequate food or food or failing to give them enough rest,” the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture said on its Twitter.
