Dubai: Saudi Arabia today announced a remarable fall in the daily reported coronavirus cases with 1,114 confirmed infections recorded, bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases in the kingdom to 309,768.
The fatality toll has risen to 3,722 after 31 more virus-related deaths were reported over the past 24 hours, signalling a drop in daily reported fatalities, the Ministry of Health said during its press conference held today.

The recovery rate has risen to 91 per cent.
According to the ministry, the active cases have significantly declined to 22,114, including 1,639 which are critical. The kingdom has so far conducted 4,792,192 PCR tests since the outbreak of the deadly contagion.
Mecca today reported the highest number of newly detected cases in the kingdom with 74 new infections, followed by Jazan with 56 cases and Jeddah with 54.
