Kuwait: A Bedoun man in his 30s has been arrested and charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing a Kuwaiti citizen during a dispute over parking priority at a shopping mall in Al Jahra Governorate, according to Al Anba newspaper.

The incident began when the Ministry of Interior’s operations room received a report of a fight in a mall car park, prompting security officers to attend the scene.

Police found a young Kuwaiti man suffering from a stab wound to his hand. He was taken to Al Jahra Hospital for treatment and was later reported to be in stable condition.

The suspect was arrested at the scene. During questioning, he allegedly told investigators that an argument had broken out over which driver had priority in the car park before the confrontation escalated.

Investigators are also seeking to establish why the suspect had a knife in his vehicle at the time of the incident.

Authorities are additionally examining whether he could have any connection to robbery cases, as the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident continues.
