Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Qatar decry Iranian strikes, back UAE security measures
Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Egypt and Jordan have strongly condemned Iranian attacks on the United Arab Emirates, which involved ballistic missiles and drones and left three people injured, reaffirming their full solidarity with the UAE.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has expressed its condemnation and denunciation in the strongest terms of the Iranian targeting - through missiles and drones - of civilian and economic facilities in the UAE. In a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the Kingdom's solidarity with the UAE in all measures it takes to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
The Ministry also called on Iran to cease these attacks, adhere to the principles of international law and relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions, and respect the principles of good neighbourliness.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait also strongly condemned the reprehensible Iranian attacks targeting the United Arab Emirates with ballistic missiles and drones. In an official statement issued on May 8 by the Kuwait News Agency, the ministry said the continued attacks represent a "flagrant violation" of the UAE's sovereignty and pose a direct threat to its security and stability. It added that the escalation undermines regional efforts aimed at reducing tensions and maintaining stability.
The ministry reaffirmed Kuwait's full solidarity with the UAE and voiced support for all measures it takes to safeguard the country's security and stability. Kuwait also expressed its wishes for a speedy recovery for those wounded in the attacks.
Meanwhile, Bahrain condemned the attacks as a “flagrant violation” of international law and principles of good neighbourliness. In a statement reported by the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged Iran to respect regional sovereignty and refrain from interference, while reaffirming Bahrain’s full solidarity with the UAE under GCC defence commitments.
Qatar also strongly condemned the attacks involving two ballistic missiles and three drones, describing them as a blatant violation of UAE sovereignty and a threat to regional stability. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed full support for the UAE’s measures to safeguard its security and territorial integrity, while wishing a speedy recovery for those injured.
Egypt strongly condemned the blatant Iranian attacks targeting the territory of the United Arab Emirates, resultig in a number of injuries.
Egypt affirmed in a statement carried by the Middle East News Agency (MENA) that the continuous and repeated attacks are a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the UAE, a clear violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, and a direct threat to the security and stability of the region.
Egypt reiterated its full solidarity with the UAE and its support for all measures and actions it takes to protect its security and stability and safeguard its resources.
Meanwhile, Jordan denounced the strikes as a clear breach of international law and the UN Charter, calling them a threat to the UAE’s security, stability and territorial integrity. In a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency (Petra), officials reiterated Amman’s support for all actions taken by the UAE to protect its sovereignty and citizens.
Syria also strongly condemned the Iranian attacks targeting the United Arab Emirates with ballistic missiles and drones, which resulted in injuries among civilians, describing them as a flagrant violation of the UAE's sovereignty, international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
In a statement carried by the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates affirmed Syria's solidarity with the UAE and its support for all measures taken by the UAE to safeguard its security, stability and sovereignty.
