Heavy rains have disrupted daily life across several areas of Dubai, leaving streets waterlogged and vehicles stranded. Residents reported difficulties navigating neighbourhood roads as pools of water made driving hazardous.
“Most roads in the neighbourhood have been affected, and several areas are heavily waterlogged. Some cars are stuck in deep pools of water,” said resident Mathul Mathews. “We are following local authority advisories, staying indoors, and have stocked up on essential supplies as more rain is predicted.”
Authorities have urged residents to avoid low-lying and flooded areas, drive with caution, and follow official safety updates as unstable weather conditions persist.
In Muhaisnah, residents noted improvements after earlier traffic disruptions. “Traffic was affected on the service roads since yesterday, but things have improved in the past few hours,” said Ratheesh Kumar, a local salesman.
With more showers forecast in the coming days, authorities are closely monitoring the situation to ensure public safety.
