Dubai: Travel and shop with your nol card for a chance to win big rewards

With the weather getting more palatable, it’s time to make plans. One fun way to see the city – on a budget – is by taking advantage of Dubai’s Road and Transport Authority’s latest offering: the nol Weekend Wanderer campaign.

The campaign will run until Dec 14.

How does it work?

Well, if you use your nol card to ride Dubai Metro, Tram, buses, or Marine Boat, and you’ll be earning yourself double the nol Plus points. Plus, if you shop using your nol card, you will increase your chance to win rewards.

The app is available for download on the App Store, Google Play, or Huawei AppGallery.

RTA explains on its website that now you’ll be able to:

•    Manage family members’ nol cards, such as submitting applications for children, linking or deactivating family cards, and recharging balances for individual members.
•    Schedule automatic top-ups for family cards at predefined intervals and with user-selected amounts.
•    Receive proactive notifications to remind users to top up low balances, renew expiring nol cards, or extend the validity of travel passes ahead of time.
•    Instant nol card top-ups and real-time balance enquiries.
•    Instant purchase of travel passes.
•    Additional in-app services such as mobile phone balance top-ups.
