Yuvraj Singh, who appeared on Ranveer's podcast, has reportedly unfollowed him

Dubai: YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as "BeerBiceps Guy," has faced significant backlash over his controversial remarks on comedian Samay Raina's roast show India's Got Latent.
The controversy erupted when Ranveer asked a deeply offensive question to a female contestant on the show.
Following widespread outrage, star cricketer Virat Kohli reportedly unfollowed Ranveer on Instagram, a move noted by several social media users.
Screenshots of Kohli’s following list, showing Ranveer's account as unfollowed, quickly went viral, though neither party has issued an official statement.
Yuvraj Singh, who previously appeared on Ranveer's podcast to discuss his life, has also reportedly unfollowed him. Although there is no official confirmation that Yuvraj and Ranveer ever followed each other on Instagram, circulating screenshots suggest that Singh has unfollowed Ranveer.
An old interview clip from Ranveer’s podcast featuring Yuvraj Singh has resurfaced. In the video, Yuvraj jokingly asks, "You are straight, right?" while Ranveer is praising him. Ranveer responds, "I’m the most straight guy you’ll ever meet," to which Yuvraj sarcastically quips, "Lagg toh nahi raha," before laughing, with Ranveer joining in.
Reports also suggest that Ranveer has lost over 8,000 followers on social media since the incident.
Amid the growing legal scrutiny, Samay Raina, host of India's Got Latent, posted an Instagram statement explaining that he had removed all episodes of the show from his channel. "My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will cooperate fully with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly," he said.
Ranveer Allahbadia later issued a public apology, admitting that his comment on the show was inappropriate and unfunny. "Comedy is not my forte, and I regret my lapse in judgment," he said in a social media video. Acknowledging his influence on young viewers, he added, "The podcast is watched by people of all ages. I need to use this platform better."
The controversy has sparked a broader debate on freedom of speech, decency, and the responsibility of influencers. The cyber police, who have registered the FIR, issued notices to the social media influencers and others involved in the past episodes of India's Got Latent.
