Lindwall said after his victory: “We had so much fun here as a team, the three different courses are in such great shape. Going to new venues for each round when they are so good meant we really enjoyed it. I’m now going to the winter series for the Nordic League and it’s going to be really exciting and this is the perfect set-up for it.”

Some 23 teams competed, with one professional and three amateurs forming a team, with amateurs travelling from countries including Austria, Belgium, England, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Scotland, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland and Wales.

Runners-up in the team event were England’s Steven Tiley with amateurs Lyiubomir Minchev (5), Ilia Elfeleki (6) and Stamen Stanchev (16) on the same score as the winners, but losing on a last-round countback.

Notables in the field included Ladies European Tour player Carly Booth and former Formula One driver Heikki Kovalianen.

Robbie Busher was the defending Pro Individual champion and he finished in eighth place.
