The sixth annual LuisaViaRoma x UNICEF charity gala was one for the memory banks, raising eight million euros for the underprivileged, especially the refugees of Syria and the war-stricken children in Ukraine, thanks in part to the support of Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea International Film Festival as the event’s founding partner.

“It is a great source of pride for us at the Red Sea International Film Festival Foundation to partner with LuisaViaRoma to support UNICEF. Aiming to bid at the UNICEF Italia Gala in Capri, we are excited to help raise enough funds for the cause supporting humanity, hand in hand with LuisaViaRoma. We constantly applaud the fantastic work UNICEF has been doing, and as part of our philanthropic mission, we are thrilled with this Gala,” said veteran Hollywood producer Mohammed Al Turki, CEO of Red Sea International Film Festival.

After the charity auction, the event kicked off a performance list to mark the summer headlined by none other than Jennifer Lopez who sparkled under the lights giving a sensational show.

Held on the stunning Italian island of Capri on the grounds of a 700-year-old monastery, the LuisaViaRoma x UNICEF attracted a who’s-who list of international stardom, including the likes of Spike Lee, Vanessa Hudgens, Jared Leto, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx, Casey Affleck, American DJ Diplo, Michael Kors, and many more.
