Egypt to open Rafah crossing for stranded Palestinians

CAIRO: Egyptian authorities have decided to open the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and the Gaza Strip on Wednesday and Thursday for the return of stranded Palestinian citizens wishing to return to the besieged enclave, said the Embassy of Palestine in Cairo.

Jamal Al-Shobaki, Ambassador of the State of Palestine in Cairo and its permanent representative to the Arab League, thanked President Abdul Fattah Al Sissi for his constant efforts to ease the suffering of the Palestinian people and the Egyptian security services that do not hesitate to provide all possible assistance. He also expressed his good wishes for the stability and prosperity of Egypt. (APP/IINA)
