Dubai: The General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science announced yesterday it arrested a 23-year-old man for working as a tattoo artist without a licence, the Ministry of Interior announced on its twitter page.
The man posted an ad on social media, leading to investigation into the case. He was arrested red-handed, while his work tools were confiscated.
Legal proceedings are being taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
Men’s salon closed
Meanwhile, the Bahraini Ministry of Industry has closed a men’s salon for violating the requirements of providing massage service, the ministry announced on its social media accounts.
The Ministry stressed the importance of following the health requirements allowing the salons and barbershops to reopen starting May 27, 2020.
It noted that all workers and owners of barbershops and salons must be committed to the decisions and preventive requirements aimed at preserving the health and safety of all.
