As Imran Khan, the 22nd prime minister of Pakistan turns 67, on October 5, Twitter is all a-buzz with birthday wishes and photos from years gone by.

In a tweet, the political party that he is the head of, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, wished him a happy birthday and all the health and stamina to achieve whatever he envisions for Pakistan.

Tweeps were also quick to recall his achivements as a champion cricketer; he led his team to victory in the 1992 ICC World Cup championships. Many posted then-and-now photos as well.

Twitter user @Qadeerab60, for instance, was quick to call the premier, "Our bravest man."

Zartaj Gul Wazir, Minister of State for Climate Change, Government of Pakistan, called him an 'inspiration', calling him " a great human and a magnificent leader who has always challenged injustice and tyranny."

And old friends from the ICC, wrote in a tweet: "He scored 3807 runs and took 362 wickets in Test cricket! 3709 runs and 182 ODI wickets and was Pakistan's 1992 World Cup winning captain 👏 Happy birthday Imran Khan!"
