Dubai: The du La Liga High Performance Centre kicked off its inaugural training session at the Dubai Sevens Stadium on Tuesday.

Led by Uefa pro-certified coaches, the centre is the training ground for a revolving squad of Under-18s who are selected talents scouted throughout the du Football Champions (duFC) season.

Training sessions will be held four days a week in addition to competitive matches against other academies. A partnership with Eupepsia medical clinic will also ensure players maintain peak mental and physical performance.

Fernando Sanz, La Liga general director for the MENA region, added: “We are very pleased to kick off training at the du La Liga HPC and have brought out top coaches from La Liga who are dedicated to working with talents to elevate their performance and prepare them for pro-careers. We look forward to tracking the progress of our inaugural team whose performance in Spain over the summer was very impressive.”
