An unfortunate fan’s attempt to win 250,000 Australian dollars (Dh665,000) by landing a basketball shot from the half court line is causing chuckles on social media.
The attempt to land the cash prize has been labelled the ‘Worst Half Court Shot Ever’ – also the title of video uploaded to YouTube.
The shot took place during half time of an Australian basketball match between Cairns Taipans and Sydney Kings.
