All eyes were on Al Ain on Friday night as it was the return of The Al Ain Par 3 Series at AESGC (Al Ain Equestrian Shooting and Golf Club) for the nine hole event.
A double shotgun start was needed to accommodate the 64 players who teed it up, which included 17 ‘debutants’ whom got their first taste of the event and what ‘competition’ golf looks like. Eight of them were Emirati and there were also five players who drove to AESGC all the way from Abu Dhabi and Dubai to join in the fun.
The Academy Course at AESGC is renowned as one of the best conditioned short courses in the Middle East and it’s the perfect facility to introduce even newish golfers into playing with a scorecard in their hand alongside new faces, no matter what age or gender.
