Dubai: Facilio, the proptech firm, has won a contract from Dubai World Trade Centre’s One Central to optimize energy consumption and reduce carbon emissions using a software-led approach.

One Central, which is built to LEED Gold standards, will use Facilio’s IoT-led ‘Connected Buildings’ solution to analyze and benchmark building performance data in real-time. One Central’s team of energy will use these insights to develop and implement strategies for reducing energy consumption and utility costs.

According to Prabhu Ramachandran, CEO of Facilio. “One Central’s commitment to sustainability aligns perfectly with our mission to empower building owners and operators with a software-first approach to improve building performance, reduce energy consumption and lower carbon emissions.”

Facilio’s software platform allows new buildings as well as existing portfolios to realize 15-30 per cent in total energy savings.
