The third season of BeingShe Universe was held on November 29 at Float Dubai, aboard the retired Queen Elizabeth II.
The event was graced by the presence of Sheikh Juma Bin Maktoum Al Maktoum who was the Chief Guest, high profile guests and various media personalities. Wassim Mandil and Iman Harti presented the show and it was directed by Fahad Kidwai.
Aparna Bajpai, Founder and CEO of BeingShe who was the main host of the show mentioned that every woman from anywhere in this world has the ability to build her own castle, she just needs the support, recognition and empowerment to move forth. Hence as BeingShe, we don’t give her empowerment, we just shine the torch on her empowerment that is within her, we remind her that all she needs is already within her and that she possesses a talent and a uniqueness that makes her who she is and that the world is waiting to see.
Highlights of the show included the launch of Millionaires Choice, a unique online platform which curates exclusive goods and services for its High Net Worth members. The Chairman George Jatania during his speech said, “I have bases in both London and Dubai and therefore for me this event could not have been held at a better venue. The QE2 is iconic and now represents the perfect blend of England and the UAE. Dubai is the centre of excellence, luxury and culture and it is a privilege and honour to be able to showcase my brands in this exciting city.”
The show welcomed contestants from diverse backgrounds and nationalities, among them medical doctors, entrepreneurs, healthcare specialists, cabin crew based etc based in the UAE and one contestant who flew all the way from Ghana to be part of the show.
Finalists for this year’s BeingShe Universe were chosen based on their eagerness to step out of their comfort zone and transform themselves with a total of eleven countries represented. After a four day grooming and training event and 3 walk rounds during the main event, Pooja Kathuria from India was awarded the BeingShe Universe 2021 winner title.
The first, second and third runner-up positions were held by Anastasiia from Ukraine, Khawla from the UAE, and Alexandra from the UK. Meanwhile, Maria Anne from Philippines became the BeingShe Universe Ambassador for 2021.
