This has to be one of the best Tesla Cybertruck clones out there... Image Credit: garage_54/YouTube

The polarizing Cybertruck was announced to much fanfare two months ago and it is launching next year according to Tesla. However, that is too far away for some so instead of waiting, they have resorted in making their very own versions – and this latest effort from Russia (again!) actually looks good.

The Russians seem particularly interested in the EV as we have seen several projects coming from there. Remember that one based on an old wrecked Lada? How could you forget...

Clearly the Cybertruck’s strange appearance hasn’t stopped the do-it-yourself crowd and this latest effort is the creation of a Russian mechanic and based on the specific specifications and dimensions that the actual electric vehicle. Built by Garage 54, they used an old UAZ Russian military vehicle chassis for their project.

The real Cybertruck will feature self-leveling suspension which compensates for variable load and some models will have all-wheel drive but it will likely look quite different from the way it does right now. Modifications to its angular design are expected to make sure that it meets safety standards meaning this clone could be crazier than the final product. It also appears to have some serious go-anywhere ability too as it’s seen frolicking in the snow!

We must say that this is the best Cybertruck clones that we have seen yet - and we are sure this is not the last of them either!
