Abu Dhabi: Saudi authorities have dismissed reports circulated on social media that fees will be charged by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs on residential and commercial garbage based on the electric power consumption, local media reported.
Mohammed Al Buqami, Director of Public Relations at the Jeddah Municipality, dismissed the reports as “unfounded rumours”.

Nayef bin Abdul Mohsen Al Rajhi, member of the Board of Directors of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce, said rumours are harmful to commercial activities and those who initiate them should be pursued and held accountable.
