5 Saudis arrested for causing deliberate crash on Riyadh highway

Abu Dhabi: Five Saudi citizens have been arrested after allegedly being involved in a deliberate collision in a Riyadh highway, a police spokesperson said.

“The suspects were caught after a video showing chasing and deliberate collision involving two vehicles on a Riyadh road, was posted on social media,” Major Khaled Al Kreidis, Riyadh Police spokesperson, said.

An investigation, launched on Friday, showed the accident occurred due to a dispute between the suspects, who were moved to the Pubic Prosecution for further questioning and trial, police said.
