COVID-19: Qatar reports 292 new coronavirus cases

Dubai: Qatar reported 292 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 109,432, the Ministry of Public Health said in its coronavirus update on Monday.

No new fatalities were reported, keeping the country’s death tally at 165, while 304 people have fully recovered from COVID-19, pushing the total number of recovered cases to 106,328 during the past 24 hours.

The ministry also announced that 4,752 people were tested for COVID-19, raising the total number of examined people to 477,194.

There are 3,104 active cases, including 502 critical and 92 seriously ill patients under intensive care.
