COVID-19: Oman records 852 new infections, 6 deaths
Cairo: Oman Friday confirmed 852 new cases of the novel coronavirus, raising to 27,670 the country's overall infections, the Omani news agency ONA said.
The newly diagnosed cases include 368 Omanis and 484 foreign residents, the Health Ministry said.
The ministry also reported six more deaths from COVID-19 over the previous day, taking Oman's total of such fatalities to 125.
The country's overall recoveries from the disease has increased by 710 cases to reach 13,974, the ministry said.
There are 102 patients receiving intensive care treatment.
Oman has conducted 3,317 coronavirus tests over the past 24 hours, the ministry added.
