Dubai: An Asian expatriate was killed and another one was moderately injured following a house collapse in Muttrah, Muscat, Oman.

According to the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA), the injured (also an Asian expatriate) was provided emergency medical care and transferred to the hospital.

Meanwhile, the Royal Oman Air Force has conducted the medical evacuation of a person suffering from fractures and serious injuries as the result of an accident.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Defense (MoD), said: “The Royal Air Force of Oman aircraft yesterday carried out the medical evacuation of a citizen who had suffered an accident that resulted in fractures and serious injuries. He was transferred from Nizwa Hospital in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate to Khawla Hospital in Muscat Governorate to receive the necessary treatment.”
