COVID-19: Kuwait reports 521 new infections, total reaches 99,049
1 new death brings total fatalities to 581
Cairo: Kuwait today confirmed 521 new cases of the coronavirus over the past 24 hours, a decrease of 183 cases compared to the tally reported the day before, taking the country’s overall infections to 99,049.
One more death from COVID-19 has been recorded, raising Kuwait’s fatality tally due to the disease to 581, the Health Ministry’s spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al Sanad said in an update.

There are 96 patients receiving intensive care treatment, he added, according to the Kuwaiti news agency KUNA.
Kuwait’s total virus tests have reached 705,029 after 3,545 tests have been done over the past 24 hours.
The ministry said that the overall recoveries in Kuwait have risen to 89,498 after 722 more patients have recovered from COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
