Dubai: Kuwait’s citizens who have not been vaccinated against COVID-19 will be banned from travelling abroad as of Saturday, May 22, state news agency Kuna reported.

The ban on the entry of expatriates into Kuwait will continue until further notice as per a decision issued by the Kuwaiti Cabinet on Monday. The travel ban on Kuwaiti citizens does not include people in age groups ineligible to receive vaccinations.

The council of ministers allowed three categories to exit from the land and sea borders. They include citizens with livestock present through the ports, those who own properties in the GCC countries, and expatriate residents who want to exit only.
