COVID-19: Kuwait announces recovery of 6 cases, and 13 new cases infected

Bringing the total number of cases up to 208 cases of infections

Dubai: Kuwaiti Minister of Health Dr. Basel Al Sabah said on Thursday that six people recovered from the coronavirus, COVID-19, raising the country's total recoveries to 49.

Kuwait on Thursday has also announced 13 new cases bringing the total number of cases up to 208 cases according to the health ministry speaker Abdullah Sanad.

All of the cases are of Kuwaiti citizins, five of them had a travel history a two came from Saudi Arabia, two came from Egypt and one came from France.

The rest seven cases contracted the virus from already infected patients in the country..

According to the Kuwait News Agency, KUNA, the new treated cases are all of Kuwaiti citizens - three males and three females, the minister said. He added that lab tests and analyses had shown their recovery.

For now 159 cases are being treated, seven of them is in intensive care.

For the quarantine Sanad said that 853 finished their quarantine time.
