Bahrain reports 586 new COVID-19 cases

Ministry announces full recovery of 635 new COVID-19 patients

Dubai: Bahrain’s total coronavirus infections have jumped to 69,361 after the country recorded another 586 new cases in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health announced on Monday.

Four more deaths from the novel virus have been also confirmed, taking the country’s death toll to 243.

The ministry also announced the full recovery of 635 new cases after receiving the necessary treatment, taking that number to 62,887 of total recovered patients.

The latest coronavirus patients were identified after conducting more than 9,118 additional COVID-19 tests among citizens and residents.

There are currently 61 COVID-19 cases in a critical condition, and 153 cases receiving treatment; 6,171 are stable out of a total of 6,232 active cases
