Awareness campaign

To promote sustainability and maintain the beauty of these places, the municipality has launched an awareness campaign titled ‘Enjoy Your Barbecue and Preserve Your Space’.

The campaign, spanning all parks and recreational areas, aims to raise public awareness and encourage responsible use of these facilities. The municipality’s teams have been spreading this message, urging visitors to utilise designated barbecue areas and take care of public assets.

To facilitate safe and clean barbecuing, the municipality has installed hundreds of concrete barbecue platforms across parks and gardens.

Designated containers for disposing of barbecue waste, such as used charcoal, have also been provided to ensure no harm to the green spaces and trees.
