Abu Dhabi mandates entry PCR tests for drivers of trucks, goods vehicles

Vaccinated drivers will be offered free PCR tests every seven days

Abu Dhabi: Drivers of trucks and goods transport vehicles must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test to enter Abu Dhabi emirate.

In an announcement today, the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee said the negative PCR test must have been received over the last seven days. The ruling will come into effect on February 1.

On the other hand, drivers who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 will be offered free PCR tests every seven days.
